Christmas Eve 2010

Thanks to our children, Mary and I are now bloggers! Since we are heading out to Pennsylvania on Sunday to look for our new home, we thought it would be a great idea to set up a blog so that our children, grandchildren, friends and other family can follow our new adventures in Carlisle.

This is our first move in 15 years so this truly is a new experience for us. We have spent the past couple of weeks trying to figure out how to consolidate all of our belonging gathered over the past 25 years! We are keeping our home here in Layton. Amy and Deven will take over the house here and Mary and I will downsize into a townhome.

It is amazing how much you acquire in a lifetime! Mary has always wanted to "simplify" our lives so that is exactly what we are doing. This has made for a most unusual Christmas here and as we gather together tonight to prepare for Santa's arrival, the house is a mixture of moving boxes and Christmas presents!

We will update our blog often (we hope!) and we hope to start this off with our house hunting trip this week!
